All participants/racers of RS2 must fill out the Membership Application Form and mail it in or bring it with them to their first race.

General Rules for all Classes:

  • Helmets are required.  Full Face helmets are recommended.

  • Safety goggles are required.  We can't stress this enough!

  • Winners are determined by which rider crosses the finish line first.

  • Races are single elimination.

  • Driver meetings are required. And are typically held about 1 hour before the start of the event.

  • You must secure any loose objects on your ATV.  If an object is dropped from your ATV during an event, you may be disqualified.

  • Your ATV must be mechanically sound and in proper running order, prior to any riding on an RS2 course.  Event Manager has the right to deny access to any ATV found mechanically unsound.

  • You must be in complete control of the ATV at all times while the ATV is running.
  • No intentional ramming or pushing of other competitor's ATV or RUVs while in the pits. Event director has final decision and will disqualify any racer who breaks this rule. This includes intentionally ramming others into the wall.

  • You may not receive any assistance, from any other person or ATV while in the pits.  If you get stuck, you may remove yourself from your ATV, and attempt to regain forward motion, in any manner possible.  Once your ATV has started moving forward again, you must return to the riding position.

  • RS2 reserves the right to disqualify, terminate or remove any rider or rider's crew member from the competition or pit areas, due to miss-conduct.

  • No threats, assault or other demeaning actions. Any person who takes part in unauthorized conduct in the pits, on the track or surrounding area, before, during, or after an event will be disqualified.

  • Riders may voluntarily withdraw from a race, but no refund on entry fees will be issued.

  • Event Director always has final decision.

  • Black Flag indicates disqualification from the heat

Points:
Racers are awarded points for starting a heat and then also for coming in 1st, 2nd or 3rd in your class. Points are kept and totaled for all five racing events in the series and your overall points total from your four best finishes will be used to determine the series class champions at the end of the season.

1st Place: 50 points
2nd Place: 40 points
3rd Place: 30 points
Start a Heat: 2 points

Only registered members that have paid their dues shall receive points for starting thier heats and winning their classes.

Throwaway Points:
Much like other racing series, each racer will automatically throwaway the results from one (1) event. The overall season points total will be calculated from only your best finishes.
